Quran Mode ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our iOS application ("Quran Mode" or "the App") collects, uses, and safeguards your information.

1.1 Information You Provide

• Prayer tracking data: Records of your daily prayer completion that you manually log within the App.
• App preferences: Your settings, selected prayer calculation method, notification preferences, and customization choices.
• Subscription information: If you subscribe to Quran Mode Premium, payment is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect or store your payment details.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Device information: Device model, iOS version, and app version for crash reporting and compatibility.
• Usage analytics: Anonymous, aggregated usage statistics to improve app performance and features. This data cannot identify you personally.

1.3 Information We Do NOT Collect

• Your name, email address, or phone number (no account creation required)
• Precise location data stored on our servers (Qibla direction is calculated on-device)
• Contacts, photos, or other personal files
• Browsing history or data from other apps

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the limited information we collect to:

• Provide and maintain the App's functionality
• Track your prayer history and streaks locally on your device
• Calculate prayer times and Qibla direction based on your location (processed on-device)
• Send prayer time notifications if you have enabled them
• Improve app performance, stability, and user experience
• Manage your subscription status

3. Data Storage & Security

Your prayer data and preferences are stored locally on your device. We use industry-standard security measures to protect any data transmitted to our servers. We implement encryption in transit (TLS/SSL) and follow Apple's security best practices for iOS development.

4. Third-Party Services

The App may use the following third-party services:

• Apple App Store: For app distribution and in-app purchase/subscription processing.
• Apple StoreKit: For managing subscriptions and restoring purchases.
• RevenueCat: For subscription management and analytics. RevenueCat's privacy policy can be found at revenuecat.com/privacy.

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

5. App Tracking & Advertising

Quran Mode does nottrack you across other companies' apps or websites. We do not use advertising identifiers (IDFA) and we do not display third-party advertisements within the App. We comply fully with Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework.

6. Location Data

The App may request access to your device's location to calculate prayer times and Qibla direction. Location data is processed entirely on your device and is not transmitted to or stored on our servers. You can revoke location access at any time through your device's Settings.

7. Notifications

With your permission, the App may send local notifications for prayer times and reminders. You can manage notification preferences within the App or through your device's Settings at any time.

8. Screen Time & App Blocking

Quran Mode uses Apple's Screen Time API (Family Controls / Managed Settings frameworks) to enable voluntary app blocking during prayer times. This feature:

• Requires your explicit authorization
• Only blocks apps you choose to block
• Processes all data on-device through Apple's frameworks
• Does not transmit information about your installed apps or usage to our servers

9. Children's Privacy

Quran Mode is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

10. Data Retention

Your prayer data and app preferences are retained locally on your device for as long as you use the App. Uninstalling the App will delete all locally stored data. Anonymous analytics data may be retained for up to 24 months for product improvement purposes.

11. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request deletion of your data
• Opt out of analytics collection
• Revoke location and notification permissions at any time
• Cancel your subscription through the App Store
